Today @ The Train Station 12hr performance loop

TEXT

Train stations are places of transition and regardless of the circumstances, they are
rarely places for contemplation. For one day on Saturday February 5th, 35 dancers
from P.A.R.T.S 3rd year bachelor program, inhabited areas of Bruges train station
for a 12-hour performance in the context of SLOW(36) 2022. The dancers of “Today
@ the Train Station” proposed a simple gesture of otherness: just being here. While
respecting the everyday flow of the station this large group of dancers created
formations that resembled a paused time-lapse, invitting our distracted gaze to catch
glimpses of images that were seemingly stable.
