All temporary, everything necessary, keep shifting, stay. For UNTITLED (2021) Maria Hassabi uses her signature style of stillness and deceleration to move through numerous everyday stances. Subtly shifting from one position to the next, she morphs her body at imperceptible velocities while the effort of keeping upright becomes visible and almost tangible.
UNTITLED is an iteration created specifically to be performed within Jimmy Robert’s exhibition at MUSEION Bolzano as part of Bolzano Danza Festival and is part of a larger work titled STANDING (2021).
